Why we built Qrynto
Global trade in fakes reached ₹39 lakh crore (US$467 billion) in 2021 (OECD/EUIPO, 2025) — a problem that affects every industry, from consumer goods to automotive parts, cosmetics to building materials. The human cost is worse: counterfeit products cause injuries, illness, and structural failures every year.
We started Qrynto because existing solutions were either too expensive for growing brands, too complicated for consumers, or too easy for counterfeiters to defeat. Holograms can be copied, regular QR codes duplicated, and app-based solutions need downloads consumers never make.
